Mountain Ash RFC has recently renewed the floor in the concert hall of its clubhouse thanks to a Facilities Grant from the Welsh Rugby Union. The club would like to thank the governing body for its financial help, without which the job would not have been done.

“We are very grateful to the WRU for awarding us a grant, and in particular Leigh Williams and Nigel Way of the WRU’s Club Funding Development team for helping us through the application process. The concert hall is an essential part of the clubhouse and is where most people gather after a game. It houses players, supporters, officials, the kitchen and after-match meals, and is also used for skittles and functions. It is a very important revenue-raiser for us. It was an essential job which would not have been done without the Union’s help, and we would like to thank the WRU for their financial support” said Mountain Ash RFC Chairman Colin Jones.
